Patricia Zendron is an economist with the Department of Education and Culture of the BNDES, a department created in 2018. Among others, the department is responsible for the program to support Brazilian cultural heritage, including the development of new financial instruments and models of Brazilian cultural institutions, aimed at developing the chains of the creative economy. Economist, with a PhD from UFRJ, joined the BNDES through a competition in 2002.
