COSSI

COSSI, a powerful rock / pop band, led by the Uruguayan composer and singer Carlos Cossi, presented his first album, CINEMASCOPE, at the Sala Hugo Balzo of the Auditorio Nacional del Sodre. A musical and multimedia show. A careful set of projections and lighting will make this show an expansive experience as well as a musical and cinematographic journey.
Between rock, pop and the cinematic experience, gliding through walls of spectorian sound, dreamlike climates and luminous refrains, the songs of Cossi follow one another like scenes of an unexpected adventure for vernacular rock.

DANY LOPEZ

Composer, instrumentalist, arranger and artistic producer, DANY LÓPEZ, is an important Uruguayan representative in
musical exchange between Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. He made music for theater, installations of visual arts and accompanied a vast number of composers and performers as a musician. Produced more than 20 albums ("Open Sea" - Daniel Drexler Gardel Award 2013 Best Album Artist Author Song). 2016 presents "Polk¨, his second album (solo), contains in its essence an integrating idea of music and cultural phenomena in general in a repertoire that includes and transcends regionalisms linked to rock and pop (involving Vitor Ramil (Br ), Zeca Baleiro (Br), Mariana Baraj (AR), etc,). 2019 will present "Kingdom Of Me", a dream-musical universe ... a hot air balloon trip, opium visions and more, interweave a sound / very contemporary aesthetics (alternative pop rock) with references to the greats of rock and folk and compositional complexities.

LUCIA GONZALEZ

Lucia Gonzalez is an upcoming singer-songwriter out of Montevideo, Uruguay. Her debut album produced and composed with Gabriel Casacuberta (Bajofondo, Supervielle) was edited by Bizarro Records in September 2012. Her style mixes various folk and indie-pop elements, such as vocal harmonies, orchestral arrangements, vintage beatboxes and electronic treatments. In 2013 she received the Graffiti Award (Uruguayan music awards) in the category of Best Pop-Rock album as well as a nomination for Best New Artist.
Her song Propergol, was covered by the band Bajofondo in their album Presente, sung by Gustavo Santaolalla. In 2014 she recived the National Music Award from MEC (Ministry of education and culture) for her song Loquat Tree. In 2017 Bizarro Records released her second album SOLAR, for which she was nominated for Best Female Artist in the 2018 Grafitti Awards.

POETAS Proyecto Cross Media

POETAS Cross Media Project (2012 to date). It is a platform for the production and exhibition of multimedia poetry content. From there, he is developing an innovative POET NETWORK that is already present in more than 10 countries. POETAS PCM made
samples in 8 countries (China, France, USA, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay), in more than 30 cities (25 locations in Uruguay, covering the entire territory), in various windows (cinema, events, TV, etc.) ), adding to date more than 10,000 spectators. On November 28, 2012, at the Barco de Papel Bookshop (Queens, NY), within the framework of the "VIII Festival of New Poetry - Poets in New York", the launch of this platform was made with a multimedia sample of the work of twenty Uruguayan writers This initiative was supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, among others.
