Project attributes

PLATÔ has the aims of undertaking actions for the international circulation of the artistic production of the theater groups Luna Lunera, Espanca!, Teatro Andante and Teatro Invertido. They are four theater collectives important in the brazilian contemporary scene, dedicated to research, with consistent artistic works, with important prizes, and that circulate throughout Brazil and Latin America.

This initiative is born of the evidence that the presence of the brazilian theater abroad is lower than its potential, noting the massive and powerful production of the country and its receptivity in the international context.
It’s in this perspective that arises the collective organization of PLATÔ, with the executive direction of Marcelo Bones, programmer, art director and consultant for performing arts festivals.
