www.festivais.com.br The “Observatório dos Festivais” is an organization with the objectives of promoting the diffusion, research and production of knowledge about festivals. Initially focused on the theater festivals of the Brazilian territory, then in the future the Observatory intends to expand its action for the performing arts in general and beyond the national territory. The initiative comes from the accumulation of experience and contact with festivals from north to south of the country, along with the desire to contribute to think, register, develop and share ideas about this phenomenon that has been multiplied in Brazil in the last decades in the more varied forms of samples of production and research in the performing arts. The Observatory is structured through three objectives: information, reflection and research. It intends to organize and make known to artists, institutions and managers interested in general information about the festivals that take place throughout
