Borikua (Puerto Rican) and Kiskeyan (Dominican) game designer with nearly a decade of experience in game design and development for indie and AAA games, focused on gameplay and systems. She is an enrolled tribal member of the Higuayagua Taino of the Caribbean. In January 2023, she founded independent game studio, Midnight Hour Games, who are currently developing their second game title. Elaine is also co-founder and President of Latinx in Gaming, an award-winning 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to increasing representation, building community and providing resources to Latine game developers, creators and students across the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.
