Daniel Leite Costa

Daniel Leite Costa holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Design with a focus on Digital Games. He is the Lead UI/UX Designer at Kokku, Coordinator and Professor of the Digital Games and Design programs at UniFacisa, and a Member of the APGames Council. With over 15 years of professional and academic experience in Digital Games and Design, he specializes in User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) for games, working in design, teaching, and research across various platforms and scopes (Mobile/PC/Consoles). He has also published books and articles in the field. Daniel seamlessly integrates academic practice with technical and professional expertise, excelling in creativity and human-centered design. Whether in leadership and management roles or directly involved in the creative and design processes, he can actively contribute to areas such as Design, Digital Games, UI/UX, Usability, Accessibility, Design Methodologies, Design Tools and Techniques, Gamification, Teaching, and Research, among others.
