Alan Mandujano is Head of Latin America at Niantic, Inc. and the regional spokesperson. With a background in Engineering and a Master's in Business Innovation, Alan began his journey in gaming at a young age, founding a Pokémon fan community at 14 that organized the first official tournaments in LATAM. Since joining Niantic in 2019, he has led partnerships with global brands like 7-Eleven and McDonald's and events like Day of the Dead, Carnival of Love, Pokémon GO Tour: Live 2022 in Monterrey and Pokémon GO City Safari 2023 in Mexico City. Recently, Alan also led the strategy for launching Pokémon GO in Latin American Spanish, a first for the Pokémon franchise. His work has been recognized in media, with multiple appearances and articles including Merca2.0's list of 45 Digital Leaders in 2023. Beyond his role at Niantic, he is an adjunct professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching Interaction and Game Design.
