Raquel Gontijo

I am the Head of Institutional and Governmental Relations (RIG) at ABRAGAMES, the Brazilian Association of Game Developers. In my role, I focus on fostering relationships between the gaming industry and key political and governmental stakeholders to ensure that Brazil’s game development ecosystem thrives. I work to create strategic initiatives that support the growth of the industry, advocate for public policies that foster innovation, and strengthen international collaborations. At ABRAGAMES, our mission is to promote and advance the Brazilian video game sector, advocating for the interests of local developers and helping to position Brazil as a competitive hub in the global gaming market. My work within the RIG team is crucial in ensuring that the industry has a voice in shaping policies, securing public support, and navigating challenges in the ever-evolving landscape of gaming.
