Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education (Secitece) has as its main mission to coordinate and enable the generation, dissemination and application of knowledge to improve the quality of life of the population of Ceará. Among its objectives are to plan, monitor, coordinate and supervise activities related to higher education, professional education, scientific research and technological development in the State, as well as to formulate and implement government policies in the S&T sector. To this end, it involves federal, state and municipal government agencies, public and private educational institutions and the business sector with the mission of collaborating with the development of the State.
