Gamecon/Headscon Acre 2024 was a pioneering event focused on gaming culture, technology, and the creative economy, held in Rio Branco and established as a key initiative for developing the sector in Brazil’s North region. The project brought together talks, workshops, competitions, a game showcase, and interactive activities, connecting education, market, and entertainment in one space. With a strong focus on training and inclusion, Gamecon expanded access to the games industry beyond major centers, encouraging new talent and strengthening the local creative ecosystem. The initiative later evolved into Headscon, marking a broader and more structured phase of the platform.
