MysticRoots Studio is an independent game studio founded in 2024 and based in Tucumán, Argentina.

We create playful, meaningful experiences across entertainment, culture, education, and interactive projects for brands and institutions.

Recently, we have focused on impact-driven and serious games, exploring how interactive media can raise awareness and inspire change. This led to 𝐄𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, a series about wildlife conservation, endangered species, and the effects of climate change and human intervention. Its first title, 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚 ¡𝐀𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞!, introduces these topics through an engaging experience that educates while fostering empathy and action.

Antita ¡Al Rescate!

Imagine enjoying a peaceful day in the Yungas of Tucumán when suddenly your habitat is disrupted and your babies are taken. Antita ¡Al Rescate! is a narrative 2D side-scrolling platformer, and the first title in the Echoes of Nature series, where players control a mother tapir racing to rescue her offspring from illegal wildlife trafficking.

WHAT IS THE GOAL? Race against time, overcome obstacles, and find the keys to free her young, Badak and Suyanita, before it’s too late. The gameplay is inspired by the tapir’s real-life abilities, behavior, diet, and ecosystem threats.

The game is a short, single-level experience set in the Yungas of Tucumán, designed to deliver an emotional journey and raise awareness through interactive storytelling in museums, cultural spaces, and natural reserves.

Echoes of Nature

Echoes of Nature is a videogame series focused on endangered species from around the world, using immersive gameplay to raise awareness and educate players. In each title, players embody an at-risk animal and explore real-world ecosystems, discovering its behavior, challenges, and survival strategies.

Each game will highlight some of the most relevant threatened species in different countries, bringing visibility to the environmental issues they face, often caused by climate change and human intervention. By combining storytelling and interactive systems, the series will continue to foster empathy, reflection, and a meaningful connection with the natural world.
