@ gamescom latam 2025 (In-person & online)
The Secretariat of Culture of the State of Ceará (Secult-CE) is responsible for the formulation, implementation, and promotion of public cultural policies in Ceará. Created in 1966, it was the first state-level cultural secretariat in Brazil and serves as a reference for other states and the Ministry of Culture. It promotes cultural diversity, strengthens the cultural production chain, and expands democratic access to cultural assets. Recent achievements include the establishment of the Ceará Audiovisual Law (Law No. 17.857/2021) and the process of creating a public company to foster interactive and non-interactive audiovisual production, boosting the creative economy. Secult-CE develops programs and actions that value artistic production, heritage, and the cultural expressions of the people of Ceará, reinforcing culture as a driver of economic and social development.
