"Opalisco – Identidade em movimento" is a game designed to promote anti-racism through its gameplay, narrative, and aesthetics.
The game is part of Maieda, a deusa dos bons ventos, a Brazilian transmedia fantasy series developed by Tincoan over the past 15 years.
Currently in its demo version, Opalisco is a 2D platformer that blends adventure, puzzle, and fantasy genres, developed to run on desktop computers.
Narrative
The story follows Luas, a ten-year-old boy who is given the mission to find the Opalisco — an ancient legend said to be capable of ending the war that plagues the world he lives in.
Gameplay
To find the Opalisco, the player must guide Luas through choices that lead him to build a community around himself, while he journeys across an ancient and dangerous land called Gogoyae.
