Thalassocracy

Thalassocracy is an independent Brazilian startup from Salvador (Bahia) that creates board games combining strategy, symbolism, and critical learning. Our mission is to design playful experiences that foster reflection, dialogue, and holistic development.

Our main project, Força & Poder (Force & Power), is a strategic board game exploring symbolic conflict and power. It cultivates key skills like strategic thinking, risk analysis, ethical awareness, and a balance between logic and intuition.

Used as a pedagogical tool, Força & Poder has impacted over 100 public school students through workshops, teacher training, and classroom sessions. Each game piece represents an archetype and invites reflection on force, alliances, freedom, and memory.

We see games as educational and cultural languages, and we’re expanding. We seek partnerships with publishers, developers, schools, and institutions who share our belief in the transformative power of play.
