Game Dev Quest is a competitive circuit aimed at multidisciplinary teams seeking to improve and/or develop independent games. The project aims to boost the creation of a games hub in Paraíba, promoting the growth of the indie games industry and supporting both beginners and experienced teams in the development and professionalization of digital games.
The circuit takes place between January and August 2025 and is divided into knockout stages. It is aimed at indie game development enthusiasts from all over Brazil, including programmers, designers, artists, musicians, writers and others interested in the digital entertainment sector.
The Government of Paraíba will invest R$ 800,000.00 from the State Treasury, of which R$ 400,000.00 will go to 20 startups selected in Phase 2 and R$ 400,000.00 to 10 startups approved for Phase 3.
