"Odoyá" is a transmedia project that celebrates Afro-Brazilian culture and addresses environmental issues. Coproduced by Victor Cayres, Sinergia Games and Unique Entretenimento, the project consists of a short film and a game. "Odoyá" aims to promote cultural diversity, empowerment, and the importance of respecting nature.
The short film depicts the relationship between a girl, Jana, and her grandmother, Aduke, who teaches her the importance of caring for the environment. After saving an unusual fish, Jana receives a shell that allows her to breathe underwater and understand the significance of environmental preservation.
The film was showcased at the Lugar de Mulher é no Cinema Festival, the Cine.Ema Environmental Film Festival, and the National Cinema Festival of Lages.
