Across the Abyss: Voidborn was Pixel Hound’s first released title, developed as a strategic milestone to solidify the team's creative alignment and build a complete game development pipeline—from concept to launch. The project was designed as a hands-on opportunity to establish production processes, validate collaboration methods, and ship a cohesive game under real conditions.

Voidborn is a short-form, fast-paced action game where players use enemies as weapons in a chaotic combat loop. Set in a satirical sci-fi universe, the game blends hack-and-slash mechanics with survival elements, introducing elemental powers and comical characters in a compact, polished experience. While playful in tone, the project served as a crucial foundation for future releases, allowing the team to experiment with creative direction, narrative voice, and audience feedback.
