Our project, Inara and The Balance of the Island, is an Action RPG Metroidvania based on the mythology, legends and the unique and amazing identity of the Great Island of Chiloé, in Chilean Patagonia. The landscapes of our deep south, and the subtle but powerful connections between reality and fantasy which have formed a handful of myths and legendary characters and creatures are the perfect scenario for our history and our hero, a young girl who is caught in the middle of the fight between Chiloé´s mythological creatures and a secret group of witches called “The Righteous Province”, which is disrupting the natural order of the world.

We currently have an early prototype playable from our website www.cuentocortogames.cl. The Video URL shows a 10 minute gameplay video.
