Exploring the Sanctuary and contributing to the dangerous and deadly world of Diablo IV proved to be a task not for the faint of heart. As passionate fans of the series, we crafted each demonic denizen, piece of sturdy armor, and death-bringing weapon passionately and meticulously—ensuring that every battle sends shivers down the players’ spines. Blizzard put their trust in us, and we were honored to breathe life into one of their most ambitious RPGs to date.

Dead Space

Revisiting the chilling corridors of USG Ishimura was a dreadfully amazing experience for us. Together with Electronic Arts and Motive, we had the privilege to reimagine the iconic game that instilled terror in players for years. Being able to bring Dead Space to life in a faithful remake made us channel the darkest aspects of our teams’ creativity, resulting in bone-chilling art direction that is a horror masterclass. We were proud to help preserve—while revitalizing—the original’s horrifying appearance.

The game launched in early 2019, and since then, it has gained—and retained over many years—a massive, intensely passionate global fanbase. Our work on creating the fantastical world of Immortals of Aveum was a phenomenal journey. It allowed us to wield creativity like a magic spell to conjure a war-torn yet awe-inspiring world replete with grand architecture and formidable battlemages. Our artists poured their hearts into the scenery and every character on both sides of the Everwar, contributing to an epic tale of enchantment and adventure from Ascendant Studios and Electronic Arts.

We marched into the futuristic setting of Battlefield 2042 with our creativity locked and loaded! As we crafted visuals for the game’s war-torn world, we paid tribute to the franchise’s legacy of high-octane action. Fueled by our fanboy/fangirl enthusiasm for the series, we ensured that the title would be the most immersive, thrilling, and visually pleasing experience to date. Room 8 is proud to have had the privilege of working with DICE and Electronic Arts on this title.
