MEMY splits into several sub-brands, including ANCIENT BLACK. A studio that exists since 2019 and serves several clients in Brazil, North America and Europe, producing illustrations, comics, concept arts, animatics, storyboards and animations for game, film and TV industrie, as well as comic book and book publishers.

Detective Gatuma: Get a Clue!

Detective Gatuma is an investigative visual novel in the style of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The player controls Detective Gatuma, a police cat who works in the Meowtropolis police force and must solve crimes. For this he must interrogate the suspects and collect evidence.

The game has an open world and non-linear gameplay that gives the player more freedom, in addition to adding various elements of puzzles, minigames and sidequests to the gameplay.

The graphics are entirely made in 2D animation, taking advantage of MEMY's years of experience in this type of work.

Waky: Dream Tower Trouble

Waky: Dream Tower Trouble is a lively and entertaining platform game with a "mini-metroidvania" concept, where small maps that require player exploration make up each stage. The game features vibrant colors, upbeat music, and intricate 2D cell-shaded animations reminiscent of games like Wario Shake.

Waky also incorporates rogue-like elements and boasts an exclusive customizable power-up combination system.

The best way to describe the gameplay mechanics is as a mix between Wario Shake, traditional platformers like Mario and Donkey Kong, with a touch of Metroidvania, and titles like Mega Man and Contra. Sounds crazy, right?

The game is currently in the early stages of development, with the team working on the 2D character sprites.

Red Luna

Red Luna is a game that blends elements of visual novel, narrative, point & click, and card game mechanics, set in a world dominated by vampires, wizards, and technocrats.

Part of the game's navigation is done through a point & click and visual novel system. However, many confrontations are resolved through a card battle system.

The game features abundant 2D animations, adding dynamism and agility to the experience. The goal is for the player to feel like they are playing an animated cartoon.

Kaiju Jr: Play with me

Kaiju Jr. is a game that blends elements of quick mini-games with party-game dynamics. It can be described as the perfect mix between Wario-Ware, Rhythm Heaven series and Mario Party.

With colorful graphics and a minimalist aesthetic, the game follows a group of baby giant monsters trapped inside a magical board game. These characters will also star in an animated series for preschool children in 2025. Despite this, the game is designed for all ages, including adults.

Silverlake

Silverlake is a horror game that combines elements of survival, point & click, puzzles, and FMV games.

The game will be entirely composed of scenes filmed with actors, featuring original audio in English. Filming is scheduled to take place between August and September 2024.

In Silverlake, you control a young woman isolated in a house in the woods, who must escape from a psychopath with supernatural powers.

Unlike other FMV games, Silverlake features a mechanic that allows you to freely explore the house and make dozens of different choices, similar to a traditional 3D game.

Encounters with the psychopath can happen at any moment, adding unpredictability to the gameplay. A compact, rogue-like version of Alien: Isolation is an apt way to describe the game. The final product is expected to be delivered by the end of the first half of 2025.
