The purpose of the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Work (SMDET) is to conduct government actions aimed at generating work, employment and income, reducing regional inequalities, supporting economic vocations and local development, strengthening the entrepreneurial culture, improving competitiveness, the promotion of sustainable economic development and agriculture, as well as the management of recyclable material cooperatives registered by the City Hall under the Socio-environmental Program for Selective Collection of Recyclable Waste.
