LCB Game Studio, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was founded by novelist Nico Saraintaris and artist Fernando Martínez Ruppel. Their collaboration began in 2012 while working on literary projects, leading them to establish their own book publishing house called Literatura Clase B. Over the years, their partnership has extended beyond literature, encompassing video games (which they make since 2012!), short stories, illustrated novels, comics, and non-traditional narrative experiments.

LCB Game Studio is particularly known for their "Pixel Pulps," which represents their distinctive approach to interactive fiction. Among their notable works, MOTHMEN 1966, the first Pixel Pulp, was recognized as the 7th best game of 2022 by Eurogamer. Additionally, VARNEY LAKE, their second Pixel Pulp, received a nomination for BEST LATAM GAME at the Brazil Game Festival (BIG).
