Founded in 2004, the Association of Video Game Developers of Argentina (Asociación de Desarrolladores de Videojuegos Argentinos) is a non-profit organization made up of video game studios and developers that work to promote the growth of digital and interactive entertainment produced in Argentina.
This year we are organizing the 20th edition of the first event fully dedicated to game development in LATAM: expoeva.com and we are looking for strategic partners, speakers, and studios interested in being part of this celebration.

Argentina's Video Game Expo 2022 (EVA) / September 14-17

Welcome to the first game development event in Latin America with 20 years of trajectory.

The expo will have: talks, workshops, panels, B2B networking sessions, and the EVA Awards for the best productions of the region (Argentina and LATAM) released in the past year.

Fast facts:

+5000 viewers live on the online streaming during 2021's edition
+3000 visitors per day in-person (this year we are expecting a larger audience since the venue is a touristic destination, and the talks and panels will be free of charge for everyone).
150 000 views on the LATAM Games Festival we organized in collaboration with Valve to showcase productions from the region.
Format: Hybrid
Audience: Publishers, Game Developers, Game Designers, Artists, Programmers, Investors, Service Providers, Students, Researchers, and professionals from creative industries interested in connecting and doing business with game development studios and companies operating in Argentina and the LATAM region.

Argentina's Game Development Ecosystem Report

Since 2017, The National Video Game Development Industry Observatory promoted by the Universidad Nacional de Rafaela and powered by ADVA, has aimed to generate knowledge by obtaining the sector’s periodic metrics, thus making it possible to better understand the needs of our industry and those who comprise it, favoring the proposal and management of public and private policies for both the industrial and training fields. This effort will be sustained for 10 years.

The report aims to maintain an updated database of Argentina’s Video Game Development sector. It specifically seeks to learn about the status of the companies that comprise it in terms of general characteristics, human resources, financing, billing, foreign relations, the main lines of business, and types of developments, among others. The information gathered is strictly confidential.

Submit your game for EVA PLAY 2022!

The Argentine Game Developers Association (ADVA) invites game developers and studios from Argentina and Latin America to participate in EVA PLAY 2022, during the next face-to-face edition of the Argentina Game Dev Expo (EVA) 2022 -to be held September 16th to 17th in Buenos Aires City.

EVA PLAY 2022 will be a physical games expo where the most recent productions made by local and regional developers will be exhibited.

JURY
All the projects that apply will be curated by a jury of experts who will announce the games that will be exhibited during EVA PLAY 2022.

CRITERIA
Among the criteria to be evaluated, aspects such as the quality of the game, innovation and the novelty factor (whether or not the game was presented in previous editions of EVA PLAY) will be taken into account.
