Silent Depths

Project attributes

Silent Depths is a roguelike, strategy and exploration game, with horror and survival elements. Inspired by retrofuturistic and horror fiction, the game takes place in an apocalyptic underwater world where all of Earth's landmasses were swallowed by the sea, and what remains of humanity now lives aboard gigantic submarines named "Arks", scavenging the submerged wastelands for resources and fighting for their lives against pirates, mutated creatures and otherworldly entities.
The project was approved over 700 other projects in a innovation and entrepeneurship award, Start BSB, and received funding for it's initial conception. It was also selected for FAC Multicultural, a culture funding program from Brasília's government.
Silent Dephts is also being made with accessibility in mind since its inception, as one of Tavern Tales goals is to make games that can be played by as many people as possible, with good design choices and accessibility features.
