Mangút

Welcome to Mangút, a 2D adventure platformer! Were, Gil, a dedicated app delivery worker, relies on his job to pay the family's bills. But soon he will discover that someone very important has a plan to destroy his neighborhood.

Selling points:
-Gil’s Mechanical Hook: Players can latch onto various surfaces, adjust the rope length, and swing in a more realistic and polished way compared to other games.

-Cultural Representation: Brazilian culture is reflected through the diverse hand-painted environments and the rhythms that blend samba, coco, funk, and bossa nova. All of this is reimagined through a retrofuturistic and dystopian lens, which ties into the game’s deep narrative.

-Relevant and Timely Theme: Our game explores the daily lives of delivery workers, a highly relevant topic whose narrative and empathetic potential has yet to be fully explored in digital games.

-Precision Gameplay: Tight controls and balanced challenges, refined over more than 15 months of polishing.
