Ruins of Faeon is a dungeon crawler where players must build their exploration team by capturing monsters they encounter in ruins of an ancient civilization, while fending off enemies and dealing with obstacles. How far they'll reach rely only in their team-building synergy, strategy, and mastery of turn-based combat.

With an experience that combines "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" with Riot's "Teamfight Tactics", players must explore different ruins for items in order to survive as they dive deeper into the dungeons. As they explore, monsters called "Spir" can be be defeated to clear the way, or captured to be added to the exploration party. By combining monsters of different traits, new bonuses and abilities are unlocked for the whole team, making team-building not only part of the strategy, but also the driving force behind how players approach the game.
