Broadcast by TV Cultura for the first time between 1994 and 1997, Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum is the most successful program ever shown on a Brazilian public television. The unanimity among the critics, several national and international awards, and, most of all, the immediate success with the audience proved that a landmark in the history of Brazilian audiovisual production was born, transcending children and youth audience, for it gathered admirers from three generations at least.
After twenty years, TVCultura presents Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum – The Exhibition, which re-creates several settings and provides an immersive visit through the pieces of the collection, such as props, pictures, scale models, sketches, and costumes of the characters, including scenes from the program itself. This exhibition has already passed through several Brazilian cities, becaming a public record holder, also becoming the most visited exhibiton of the world in 2017, when was on display at the Memorial of Latin America.
