The technique
Inspired by the Italian Murans, the Incomun pieces are produced through the millenary technique Millefiori adapted for the handling of plastic ceramics, a polymer clay. The technique consists in the creation of stamps in a conical format that will be sliced and then with different "slices" of different prints a final piece is composed in the combination of small flowers, that is, a thousand flowers.
inspiration
In our production, we can highlight as main inspiration the elements of the botanical universe and birds. Two of our breeding workshops are in places with plants, trees and especially flowers, so we received almost by osmosis the shapes of plants and birds for the construction of Incomun artifacts. Besides them, we can also highlight the reference of ethnic ornaments (African and indigenous), in Brazilian culture and in iconographies of female figures.
