La Perla is a band of four women who have studied the traditional rhythms of the Colombian Caribbean and has generated a proposal that not only pays homage to cultural legacies, but also ventures into other routes of the great Caribbean and that converges in spaces of innovation, until arriving at an original sound with attitude and with a very singular charisma.
La Perla is bullerengue, cumbia, merengue dominicano, gaita and champeta criolla. Each of its members has made conceptual contributions, going through the arrangements and compositions, to define the a esthetic and staging resources that have allowed them to stand out in the national circuit.
