We´re a Colombian music agency focused with much love and dedication on the creation and management of musical projects related primarily to Latin American culture and collaborative work.

We´ve been managing the tropical noise band Los Pirañas for over five years and the garage band The Kitsch. We book artists such as Frente Cumbiero, Mario Galeano, Romperayo, Dani Boom, and El Leopardo.

In the past, we have managed and worked as executive and creative planners for Colombian alternative bands La Derecha, Mitú and Sidestepper, and booked Meridian Brothers and Abelardo Carbonó.

We co-produce two on going parties with Chucky Garcia (artistic director of Rock Al Parque and Colombia Al Parque): Alcaparras Subterraneas (latinamerican psych) and Chulethrash (punk and cumbia).

We actively and proudly belong to the MMF Latam (Latin American Managers Association).

Frente Cumbiero

With a large and successful career, FRENTE CUMBIERO has become one of the biggest representatives in the exploration of cumbia’s sonic identity in Latin America. Headed by Colombian songwriter and producer Mario Galeano Toro (also founding member of Ondatrópica and Los Pirañas), Frente Cumbiero is recognized as a spearhead of Colombia’s new cumbia movement.

Among Frente’s most remarkable live appearances, are the project’s shows at New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in 2011, Festival Estéreo Picnic (2011), Roskilde Festival (2011), Womad (2014), Fuji Rock (2018) and tours across Latin America, Africa, Europe, the U.S., Russia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, in addition to 33” and 45” vinyl releases made by labels in North America (Names You Can Trust), Spain (Vampisoul) and Japan (Okra/Tokyo Sabroso).

Active for over a decade, and going way beyond the concept of cumbia as fashion, Frente Cumbiero are the true followers of the guacharaca calling.

El Leopardo

El Leopardo is an exciting new contribution driven by legendary Colombian producer/DJ Daniel Broderick a.k.a Dani Boom. With their debut EP released on 12” on Glitterbeat, support from Gilles Peterson on BBC Radio 6 and a slot at Transmusicales festival (as part of their Dec tour in France and Denmark) things are hotting up quickly.

Dani Boom is more widely known for his revolutionary production work meshing traditional Colombian sounds with techno, hip-hop and break-beat for Systema Solar.

El Leopardo mesh urban dub textures with big rolling bass and Colombian percussion. It is a deep and profound techno with the essence of Colombian rituals and mantras from the jungle.

El Leopardo cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts to emerge from Colombia. Without a doubt, this opened lots of doors for the project to showcase its talent on some of the world’s best stages, such as Sónar Bogotá, Roskilde 2018 y Fusion 2018.

Los Pirañas

Los Pirañas reveal with humor, noise, none solemnity and a hard groove lysergic surprise the psychedelic connections between champeta, afrobeat, rock, and cumbia. This is the South American psychedelic sound of the 21st Century: Los Pirañas!

Imagine a lysergic encounter among Andres Landero´s dark cumbia, Konono´s distorted trance, Ceramic Dog´s sophisticated rawness, tropical afrobeat and an out of control computer.

For over 20 years Eblis Álvarez (Meridian Brothers), Mario Galeano (Frente Cumbiero, Ondatrópica) and Pedro Ojeda (Romperayo) have known each other, played together and explored a wide variety of Latin American rhythms. Together they have created a new and powerful way to energize the Latin alternative music scene from within the dance floor.
