Panaceia Filmes is a film company located in Goiás, far away from the big centers of production in Brazil. With eight years in the market, the company built up a lot of experience in projects related to training, thinking and producing Audiovisual.

Panaceia has produced seven short movies which were screened in more than one hundred festivals in Brazil and overseas.

Nowadays the company is releasing two feature films: Hotel mundial and Alaska. Besides that its new features Vento Seco and Oeste Outra Vez are in pre-production.This year the channel Cine Brasil TV will broadcast the TV show Doçaria Brasiliera, wich is co-produced by Panaceia Filmes.

Panaceia also produces the filme market SAPI, which brings together the most important players to talk about business in audiovisual.

Hotel Mundial

The feature film Hotel Mundial was selected for Ventana Sur 2016, where it received reviews and considerations from renowned professionals of the area. The stoning of the product guaranteed a Screenings at the last edition of the European Film Market at the Berlin Festival (2017). Now, the show has good international perspectives and it is hoped, also at Micbr, to meet and approach ideal distribution agents for windows beyond Brazil.

Alaska

The film Alaska touches on universal issues such as love affairs and re-encounters, in language that is easy to be received by different audiences and therefore interesting to international marketing. In the end, the film has the signaling of interest of local distributors and seeks partnerships that extend its trajectory also beyond the country. In this way, this year (2018) the film was present in the Marché du Film - market program of the Cannes Film Festival, where this articulation began.

Solina

The feature film Solina, which was developed from the only Creative Nucleus approved in the Midwest in the so-called Prodecine 03 of 2015, presents itself today as a project with a high potential for communication with different audiences. The film tells the story of a quilombola community, inspired by a territory near Goiânia, addressing issues such as the feminine force, the relationship with nature and the local traditions and racial structures of the country. The plot is inspired by the fantastic literature and talks directly with other cultures, especially the Latin audiences. The film seeks co-producers and shows breath for a solid international career. The project has already been selected in 2018 for events such as FRAPA - Porto Alegre Audiovisual Routing Festival, Nordeste Lab and Curitiba Lab, a project development laboratory that aims to consolidate and internationalize Brazilian works.

SAPI - Seminário Audiovisual para Produtoras Independentes

As a coordinator of the sector beyond the Rio-São Paulo axis, Panaceia Filmes has created and performs for three editions the SAPI - Audiovisual Seminar for Independent Producers, an event that connects the Brazilian audiovisual market in Goiás, receiving producers from the regions North, Northeast and Center-West, in an agenda of interlinked actions. The 3rd edition, held in partnership with Sebrae-GO from July 31 to August 3, four days of intense programming, consisting of business roundtables, tables, networking actions, cases, panels and meetings, generating regional and international co-production, as well as fruitful relations with national and international players such as Fox, Canal Brasil, Elo Company, GNT, among others.
