DoubleXP Game Studio is a new indie game company that takes over 10 years of market experience with a drive to make games for all ages, with an emphasis on inviting visuals, and gameplay that is easy to learn, engaging for long-term play, and that goes beyond surface play, offering plenty of depth for more experienced players.

Our current projects are as follows:

Warriors of the End is a tower-defense roguelike planned to launch in 2026, for which we are seeking a publisher partnership for marketing and polishing costs.

Starsower is a farming sim with automation elements in prototype stage, for which we are seeking funding for full development.

We are also open to talking about outsourcing our services for game design, art, music and social media.

In The Hours of Darkness

A 2D open-world action-adventure game, In The Hours of Darkness combines parkour platforming, character action combat and tense stealth, with an unique spell-casting mechanic that act like in-game cheat codes.

In The Hours of Darkness presents an unique magical-realist setting that re-imagines aspects of Brazilian culture with elements of fantasy, horror and social satire.

Currently in early development, with a fully-featured vertical slice available: seeking funding opportunities for full and partial development.

Warriors of the End

Warriors of the End is a game that blends the roguelike “survivors”-style genre with tower defense elements. The player goal is to protect a princess at the center of the arena against progressively stronger enemy waves, using towers that can be freely placed, upgraded and modified .In each run, the player will unlock new towers, upgrade their attributes, and acquire unique skills, which will then unlock powerful, game-breaking synergies .

The game positions itself in the market with unique ideas; WotE is a synthesis of the best of both genres, with an emphasis on simplifying player information, a wide variety of possible strategies, meaningful choices, replayability and a strong player power fantasy.

Starsower

Starsower is a 2.5D cozy game that blends farming gameplay similar to Stardew Valley with the automation genre seen in games like Factorio.

The player’s objective is to restore a star system destroyed by a cosmic plague. They do so by planting energy-generating flora, and guiding that energy to a central crystal using tracks; by making living circuits, ensuring that plants reach maturity and harnessing the energy they generate, players unlock new plants, tools and abilities, as well as new regions of the map.

New plants can generate new types of energy, as well as giving boosts to nearby plants, and familiar farming tools, like the watering can, rake and sickle, can be used in unexpected ways to fight back against the plague.
