With the destruction of the Grimoire of Oz, fairy tales become free from the destinies imposed by the Plot. Playing as Rapunzel, whose hair has been partially cut, the player uses her hair as a weapon and tool to seek revenge and explore a collapsing kingdom, finding secrets and preserving what remains of that world. RapunSlayer is a game that retells the classic fairy tale in the form of a Metroidvania inspired by Castlevania and the Shantae series.
